Continuing with our Parent Training Series, two of our senior educators, Mr. Munavwer and Ms. Kritika, conducted an insightful session on Pre-Reading Skills and Pre-Writing Skills — the very foundation of pre-academic development and meaningful learning in children. ✍️📚

Sometimes parents tell us,
“Speech toh aa gayi hai… but my child keeps repeating everything we say.”

👉 “What is your name?”
👉 “Your name…”

This is called Immediate Echolalia — and parents, this can actually be a GOOD stage. 🌱
Research shows that it often means your child is processing language and trying to communicate.

At Sensitivity, we use discreet, scientifically guided techniques to slowly convert repeated language into meaningful conversation. And the best part? A lot of this progress depends on HOW we respond at home. ❤️

✨ Simple tips for parents: ✔ Don’t immediately correct or stop the repetition
✔ Model the correct answer calmly
✔ Give short, functional language
✔ Pause and wait for processing
✔ Use everyday routines for practice
✔ Celebrate attempts to communicate

Instead of: “What do you want?”
Try: “Say: I want water.”

Small changes in your response can create big shifts in communication. 🌈
