Not all heritage sites are protected.
Not all heritage sites are recognized.
Across India, countless places of cultural, historical, architectural, natural and community significance continue to exist outside formal protection frameworks.
ANANT, an initiative by INTACH, seeks to identify and recognize such unprotected heritage sites as Heritage Sites of National Importance.
Applications and nominations are now open.
Know a site that deserves recognition? Nominate it.
