I recently spoke at the Plant Based Foods Summit by Plant Based Foods Industry Association (PBFIA) in Delhi and it was great to see the impact created by the event each year.

I emphasized how leveraging strategies isn't merely about gathering consumer data but about using touchpoints to create consumer demand, especially in emerging categories.

Insights from my fellow panelists underscored the importance of offering reasonably priced products where taste, nomenclature, and awareness play pivotal roles. Despite the immense potential in the sector, companies often face capital constraints, necessitating collective effort to drive growth. India's burgeoning economy presents a fertile ground for the expansion of plant-based food products.

I extend my congratulations to the organizers, Sanjay Sethi and the entire team for their brilliant work and for consistently elevating the summit's impact year after year. Looking ahead, I’m excited for the Vegan India Conference (www.veganindiaconference) on July 6-7 in Mumbai. It promises to be another milestone event, urging individuals and brands to reimagine health, food, fashion, technology, animal advocacy through a sustainable and plant-based lens.
