This article responds to Prof. Kirti Trivedi’s recent LinkedIn critique of the Vande Bharat Express. I argue that design is not decoration; it is a governance responsibility that shapes how citizens experience public systems.

Using that critique as context, it calls for design to be positioned early, rigorously protected, and upheld as a national standard, rather than treated as an afterthought.

In a world where brands vie for attention, messaging tends to be similar and ubiquitous.

High activity doesn’t always create distinction. Often, it just creates noise.

This short reflection looks at why consistency rooted in identity matters more than performing for algorithms and why clarity, not volume, earns trust.

We took forward the existing Artom’s brand language where the “zero to one” arrow in white against the black background symbolizing the founder’s journey, transforms into Google’s iconic colour quad, a powerful metaphor for the exponential lift powered by Google’s unprecedented support.

The tone of voice was shaped to mirror the founders we seek: patient, exact, grounded, and quietly ambitious.
