“நூலகங்களின் திருவிழா” என்ற சிறப்பான நிகழ்ச்சி இன்று மாண்புமிகு குடியரசுத் தலைவர் அவர்களால் டெல்லியில் தொடங்கி வைக்கப்பட்டது. நூலகங்கள் உருவாக்குதல், தொண்மையான ஆவணங்களை கணினி மயமாக்கம், டிஜிட்டல் நூலகங்கள் நிறுவுதல் ஆகிய தலைப்புகளில் நடைபெற்ற உரையாடல்களில் கலந்து கொண்டேன்.

The was inaugurated today by H.E. The President Of India at New Delhi. Happy to attend the Festival where scientific way of establishing and running of libraries, digitisation of rare and historic documents, archiving the historical events, maps and making of pictorial views, etc. were showcased. Sessions on establishing digital library were well organised. Congratulations to Ministry Of Culture for conceptualisation of this important aspect of educating and empowering the people of India through Libraries and preparing them for under the leadership of Hon. Prime Minister.
