My bio has another location pin added📍After 31 years, this hill town becomes HOME all over again!! The same misty mornings, the same iconic church view, the same old shops on the Mall road … but this time, life feels a little slower, softer & fuller.
Walking through the very lanes where I spent my school days at Loreto Convent, Tara Hall felt surreal in the most beautiful way.

And perhaps what made it more special was the company - a beautiful mind, warm heart, and someone I deeply admire and look up to ✨
Some places don’t just hold memories… they quietly become a part of you again.

Shimla, I know I’ll keep finding my way back to you … over and over again ❤️🫶 🏡

Some walls don’t need expensive decor…
they just need a little imagination, a little patience… and a lot of heart ♥️
I wanted this staircase wall to feel like a natural continuation of the ground floor… which already narrates the language of arches through little niches and earthy details. So to continue that story upwards… I chose to DIY these arches with Handpainted Mughal floral patterns ✨
A little texture, terracotta tones, and lots of patience turned this passage into something I admire each morning as I open the door of my home 🏡

Mother’s Day Special > Another trunk revamped at my studio… but this one carries a story far deeper than colours and paint 🇮🇳
Feeling truly honoured to revamp this special piece belonging to a retired EME officer - preserving it as a souvenir of her incredible journey. The formation signs she served in and the motto “Fighter Phillora” quietly became a part of this makeover… little details holding years of memories, strength and pride.
Maybe this feels even more emotional today… Because women in uniform hold such a special place in our hearts. And somewhere, on Mother’s Day this also feels like a tribute to the mothers who raise such fearless daughters with courage, discipline and grace to serve the Motherland✨
Some DIYs become more than revamps…�they become stories you feel honoured to preserve forever.

This staircase? It’s not just a passage…
it connects my terrace, my studio & guest room . It experiences daily rush, trays in hand, DIY experiments, plants being shifted… and honestly … it started to show 🙈 No matter how much I cleaned it… those stubborn marks just stayed back… like little reminders of everyday chaos.

So ignoring it was never really an option. So this time, I didn’t just repaint it…
I reimagined it. Added these soft jharokha-inspired arches… to bring in a sense of warmth… something that feels designed, not just done
And for once… I wanted a solution that actually lasts. Using JKMaxx Paints WipEazy Interior Emulsion
with Stain Guard Technology (100+ stains resistant 🙌) So now… even if life happens here (which it will 😄) the wall still looks like it belongs in a styled corner… not a high-traffic zone.

Honestly… because when the right products work, you don’t have to worry ✨
