What an engaging absorbing session! The children and their mommies were a rapt audience as Mamta Nainy ,the author of 'A saree for Ammi' wove an enchanting tale ,replete with intricating twists and turns of the real life story of Rubaina from Rajasthan !The narrative flowed smoothly as Mamta regaled us with fascinating snippets of a bygone era painting pictures of Mughal courts and Persian nobles who brought chikankari to India...
The cherry on the cake! Author-signed books along with handcrafted cookies!
The kids walked away with memories and moments tucked away to be revisited later.
