A truly enriching evening at the Visit Malaysia Carnival 2026, hosted by the High Commission of Malaysia, New Delhi 🇲🇾
It was a privilege for us at CD Foundation to be part of this vibrant celebration of culture, diplomacy, and global connection. Along with our team and students from Dcee DU, we experienced the spirit of Malaysia through its cuisine, performances, and engaging activities.
We were happy to meet H.E. Dato' Muzafar Shah Mustafa and interact with the esteemed diplomatic members from the Malaysian High Commission and partner organisations. Moments like these reaffirm the importance of cultural diplomacy and international collaboration — values that are central to CD Foundation’s work.
From enjoying authentic Malaysian food and drinks to participating in fun games and quizzes, the evening was a wonderful blend of learning, networking, and celebration.
We look forward to building meaningful collaborations and working closely with the High Commission of Malaysia, Delhi in the times ahead. 🤝
Grateful for such opportunities that continue to strengthen global friendships and people-to-people connections. ✨

🌸 International Women’s Day 🌸

Today we celebrate the strength, compassion, and resilience of women across the world — the homemakers, mothers, daughters, sisters, and modern women who gracefully balance countless roles with dignity and strength.

On this special day, we would like to acknowledge someone very special from the CD Foundation family — Shekiba, an Afghan refugee based in New Delhi who has been associated with us for nearly five years.

A mother of two young boys and the wife of a special-needs partner, Shekiba’s life has not been easy. Yet she faces every challenge with courage, positivity, and quiet determination.

She learnt a beauty course in our free skill training program with Orane International, and continues to inspire us through her constant willingness to help and actively take part in our pro bono activities.

Her strength may be quiet, but it is powerful. Her journey reminds us that resilience, kindness, and hope can overcome even the toughest circumstances.

Today, we salute every woman across the globe who nurtures families, uplifts communities, and inspires the world with her strength.

✨ To the women who inspire us every day — we honour you.

Happy International Women’s Day.

🇮🇷✨ An Evening of Culture, Camaraderie & Culinary Delights! ✨🇮🇳
Team CD Foundation had the honour of attending the National Day Reception of the Islamic Republic of Iran — a celebration glowing with hospitality, heritage, and heartfelt conversations. 💫
We were privileged to meet H.E. Dr. Mohammad Fathali, the newly appointed Ambassador of Iran, to reconnects with our gracious friends and long-time partners from the Embassy of Iran. 🤝
From clinking glasses (of Anaar sharbat!), catching up with diplomats from across the world, it was an evening that reminded us why we love what we do — building people-to-people bridges over culture, food, and friendship. 🌍✨
🎉 And of course, the grand Persian dinner was the cherry on top… or should we say, the rose on the baklava? 😉
Iran has always been close to our hearts — and we’re thrilled to share that plans are now underway for an Iranian Food Festival in India later this year! Stay tuned for a journey of spice, stories, and shared heritage. 🇮🇳❤️🇮🇷

From High Tea to High Impact: Coffee Morning with the United Kingdom 🇮🇳🤝🇬🇧

Hosted by CD Foundation and The Park Hyderabad, in proud partnership with the British Deputy High Commission, Hyderabad

A morning steeped in grace, purpose, and powerful dialogue — our Coffee Morning with the UK brought together changemakers from Telangana and the United Kingdom to brew bold ideas for cultural collaboration.
🎙️ Mr. Gareth Wynn Owen, British Deputy High Commissioner, set the tone with a resonant message on people-to-people diplomacy — reminding us that festivals, artists, and community-led exchange shape more enduring partnerships than policy alone.
🤝 Honoured to be joined by Shri Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary (Tourism & Youth Affairs), whose presence reaffirmed Telangana’s vision for global cultural leadership.
✨ From the elegant high tea curated by Chef Alla Smith, to the UK-themed AV showcase, and the launch of RaulGWayz Ltd, the morning overflowed with cultural energy and Indo–UK synergy.

👥 Welcoming the visiting UK delegation —
• Councillor Ryan Taylor, Leeds City Council
• Ayesha Shamim, D Dance Theatre CIC UK
• Raul Guiu, Indo–UK entrepreneur
• James Kendell, UK creative industry leader
— whose presence signals the growing warmth between Britain and Telangana.

This isn’t just tea. It’s the start of a new chapter.
Watch this space for upcoming UK–Telangana festivals, forums, and food diplomacy experiences.
