A debutant director and an experienced actor, Poonam Singh has also worked with reputed directors like Ranjeet Kapoor, Sanjeev Kant, Dr Prakash Jha, Mukesh Jha, Ishwar Shoonay, Vashisth Upadhyay and was cast in main-stream cinema-like Paltan along with numerous short films. Her last short-film Balel got selected by the Nawada Films. Her workshops at Hindi and Maithili & Bhojpuri Academy has bestowed her with immense love and satisfaction. But life is full of unexpected bombshells. She was living her dreams on stage at one moment and the next moment she landed in the emergency ward of the hospital holding hands of her beloved husband who was suffering from cerebral haemorrhage.
