From there to 2016, Swati and The Color Caravan relocated to Himachal to collaborate with the local community, and she has impacted lives of 65+ women and a few men throughout her journey by upskilling them and paving the way for income generation.

We actively work with native crafts and herding communities to preserve local craft skills and revive local wool. We are constantly striving to create responsibly and sustainably. Simultaneously, we focus on upskilling and empowering rural women. Our goal is to assist craftspeople and shepherds in reclaiming their position in the economic mainstream, while establishing a transparent value chain. We retail as well as manufacture for other slow fashion brands.
