YES! we did it 🔥
It was an amazing moment when 100+ of us marched from ITO to the Delhi secretariat to present our concerns & demands regarding poor environmental governance to the Reena Gupta (environmental advisor) of the Delhi government.

and this month, she along with Gopal Rai (Delhi’s environment minister) will speak to us about these issues in depth.

and we manage to do it because we’re together, and that’s our power (“PEOPLE POWER”✊🏻)

COVID restricts numbers, but on this many of us walked out of home and took to the streets to protest in Delhi against the lack of climate action from our leaders.

We presented our demands to Reena Gupta (environment advisor to Delhi government) where she took time out to speak to us understanding our demands— and next month, she along with Gopal Rai (Delhi’s environment minister) will speak to us about these issues in depth.

The global pandemics is a wake up call we can’t ignore- we all need to come together to protect our planet, and we need to do it NOW! ✊🏻
