Tibetan fox,🦊 also called Tibetan sand fox, is the most recent addition to the list of India's 🌳wild canids. The species was first reported from India in 2005.
It inhabits the open habitats of India's Himalayas⛰️, often spotted in grassy meadows, preying on marmots. It's range within India is restricted to small parts of Sikkim and Jammu-Kashmir.
