The prodigal son returns, a little battered, a little beaten, but never broken. When people ask me how I have been able to do what I do, I think this is the answer. I’m the only crazy person who will break his ankle before a meeting, pour cold water on it…. Not tell anyone or get any medicine or ice, while it was turning blue because of the bleeding, finished my meeting and only then called for help. My grandmother and I are literally the only people I know who will break a limb and still finish a meeting.
