|| 1.4 || दुर्योधन के शब्द जारी हैं और इन श्लोकों में दुर्योधन महत्वपूर्ण योद्धाओं को सूचीबद्ध कर रहा है। पांडवों की सेना में शक्तिशाली सैनिक। और वे कौन हैं : साहसी; जो हमारी सेना से भयभीत नहीं हैं और वे सभी दिव्य स्रोतों सहित महान स्रोतों से प्राप्त होने वाले शक्तिशाली धनुषों का प्रहार कर रहे हैं। इसलिए वे शक्तिशाली धनुष और बाण धारण कर रहे हैं और उनमें से प्रत्येक एक महारथ या महारथी है। महारथी या महारथ कुछ विशिष्ट योद्धाओं को उनकी उपलब्धि और क्षमता के आधार पर दी जाने वाली उपाधि है। तो उन्हें अर्धरथ मिला है, एक विशेष स्तर में, उच्च स्तर की राठी, और भी उच्च स्तर की महारथी, अभी भी उच्च स्तर की आदिरथी। और महारथी को इस प्रकार परिभाषित किया गया है: महारथी की उपाधि किसके पास हो सकती है। जो एक समय में 10,000 सैनिकों से अकेले ही लड़ सकता है। एक हाथ से, उस योद्धा की ताकत की कल्पना करें अगर उसे एक साथ 10000 सैनिकों का सामना करना पड़े। और ऐसे व्यक्ति को महारथी कहा जाता है और यदि कोई व्यक्ति 10000 से अधिक अमितम योद्धाये यस्तु संप्रोकथे, आदिरथी साहा से लड़ सकता है। यदि उसे अथिरथ या अथिरथी की उपाधि प्राप्त करनी है, तो उसे 10000 से अधिक लोगों से लड़ने में सक्षम होना चाहिए और दुर्योधन कहता है कि यहाँ पांडवों के पास कई महारथी हैं।

|| 1.2 || तो संजय जवाब देता है। इतने में राजा दुर्योधन ने पांडवों की सेना को देखा। जो कि अच्छी तरह से व्यवस्थित है जिसके अनुसार उनके पास सेनाओं की व्यवस्था करने के एक विशेष तरीके की किस्में हैं। (पद्म व्यूहम, चक्र व्यूहम, गरुड़ व्यूहम, इत्यादि) ये सभी सामरिक स्थिति हैं, सिर्फ दुश्मनों को फंसाने के लिए। आप जानते हैं कि कैसे अभिमन्यु एक व्यूह में फंस गया था, जिसे वह जानता था कि कैसे कुछ मंदिरों, विशाल मंदिरों जैसे मदुरै मीनाक्षी मंदिर, जैसे कि यहां, बिना किसी नकारात्मक उद्देश्य के अंदर जाना है। इस युद्ध में, यह नकारात्मक उद्देश्य से किया जाता है ताकि विरोधी पक्ष फंस जाए और इसलिए सामरिक रूप से व्यवस्थित हो, जो कि दुर्योधन ने देखा।
