Long before Eden Springs could take root in our hearts it was already designed to be planted by the Lord. When He gave us the name Eden Springs He spoke to us through His word in Gen 2:8-10. The Lord confirmed that this is His doing, planted by His design and our part in it is solely because He has placed us here. He spoke further to confirm this through Gen 2:15. The Lord reminds us that this Chu
rch belongs to Him, He has placed us here to dress tend it and keep it. A major perennial theme throughout the Bible involves copies, shadows, symbols and patterns, with the original pattern residing in the heavens and the copies made on earth. The objects in the tabernacle derive their original form and pattern from God's pattern in Heaven. In the same respect, the river flowing eastward out of Eden (God's personal residence on this earth) and the river flowing from God's throne shown in Rev 22:1 are both symbolic of God's Holy Spirit. God confirms His promise to us for the leading by His Spirit and Healing through Rev 22:1-2. The Lord also reminds us that it is His Spirit and presence that makes the difference and we are not to be dependent on our flesh but be led by His Spirit according to Roman 8:14. The Lord assured us that the vision on our hearts today is no accident and while we cannot completely see all that lies ahead we can rest in the assurance of His Word in 1 Corinthians 2:9-10. Isaiah 58:11-12 "And the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones; and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not. And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places; thou shall raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shall be called, The repairer of the breach, the restorer of paths to dwell in."
