Bharathi's Student Council Election 2026

After a week-long process of nominating and selecting candidates, the students' brisk election campaign began last week. The nominees conducted a whirlwind class-to-class canvassing and made speeches on the school stage to compete for votes.

Polling was held today (22.06.2026), where students from Grade 8 upwards participated. They voted to elect their School Pupil Leader and Assistant School Pupil Leader, along with the Sports Secretary, Cultural Secretary, and the Captains and Vice-Captains of the houses—namely Charity, Noble, Peace, and Truth.

International Day of Yoga 2026

We are celebrating the 12th International Day of Yoga (IDY) on the 21st of June 2026. IDY 2026's theme, "Yoga for Healthy Ageing", emphasises the importance of Yoga for all ages. As Yoga can be adapted to all fitness levels, health conditions, and age levels, it helps older adults maintain their physical and emotional health.

At Bharathi School, Yoga is taught to students from Grades 3 to 8 as a part of their curriculum. They are trained in asanas such as Tadasana, Vrikshasana, Trikonasana, Dandasana, Bhadrasana, Vajrasana, Uttana Mandukasana, Shashankasana, and Bhujangasana. Yoga improves focus, concentration, flexibility and body balance.

They say, "In the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years".

Yoga adds life to the years and years to our life. Let's do it!

Sai Nitiish shines at the Zonal, Regional & National Level Table Tennis

Sai Nitiish V R clinched Gold medal (U-19 Singles) in the CISCE Games and Sports 2025-26 Zonal Level Table Tennis Tournament.
In the CISCE Regional Level Table Tennis Tournament held in the Nilgiris, he won Bronze in the singles event and Silver in the team event. His remarkable performance secured his place on the Tamil Nadu and Puducherry team for the National Level Tournament.

In the CISCE Games and Sports 2025-26 National Level Table Tennis Tournament held in Irinjalakuda, Kerala, Sai Nitiish V R secured third place (Bronze) in the team event.
