A few moments from two weeks ago at Diaspora Dance Festival. Grateful beyond words to and her extraordinary team for creating space where diaspora artists are seen, held, and celebrated.

2025 asked more of me than I expected.
It demanded intensity, resilience, and perseverance beyond the norm.

Those who know me know this: every choice I make—big or small—is intentional. I give fully to my work as a fintech executive, honoring each milestone earned with my team. I parent with eyes open to the forecast—meltdowns, viruses, tears—and with a heart wide enough to hold the laughter and magic in between. I do all of this beside a partner who understands that weathering a storm doesn’t mean missing its beauty.

And dance—dance is where I pour my soul.
Into practice. Into performance. Into learning, strength, humility.
Forever a student. Always listening.

This year tested my will, my strategy, my logistics, my faith in balance. But standing on the other side of it, my conviction is clearer than ever in the path I have chosen. I am deeply grateful for the teachers, mentors, champions, friends, and silent cheerleaders who steady me—sometimes without even knowing it.

Here’s to choosing the path.
To honoring the work.
To meeting the challenges.
And to dancing through it all. 🙏🏽
