Job Title: Senior Data Engineer – Databricks & Azure

Job Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with deep expertise in Databricks and Microsoft Azure to join our data engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data pipelines, optimizing big data workflows, and creating high-performance data platforms in a cloud environment. You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other engineering teams to deliver robust data solutions that drive business insights. This role is crucial for advancing the company’s data architecture and enabling our data-driven strategies.

Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,Engineering, or related fields.

Experience:
1. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on Azure and Databricks.
2. Extensive experience with Apache Spark and Databricks for big data processing and data pipeline development.
3. Proficiency in Azure cloud services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database).
4. Experience in building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks and Azure tools.
5. Strong knowledge of data modeling, database management, and performance tuning.

Technical Skills:
1. Proficiency in Python, Scala, or SQL for data engineering tasks.
2. Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, Azure Data Factory, and Data Lakes.
3. Strong understanding of Azure Cloud architecture including IaaS, PaaS, and serverless computing.
4. Familiarity with big data technologies and distributed data processing systems.
5. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub action, and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
6. Strong experience with version control systems like Git and GitHub.
