A frame from the music video of my song Chandrachooda from Karmayogi.
I composed this song, with singing and writing the Malayalam lyrics for the charanam. We did this with nothing but sheer passion and devotion.
Back then, content was inside containers. Hooks were used to hang clothes. And when we heard the word “viral”, we took medicines.
The studio where we filmed this is now a multistoreyed apartment building. But the momentum we created has outlived all the tools and spaces that went into creating it.
16 years later, the song is still finding new listeners and going viral again.
