The officials in the Indore division of Madhya Pradesh police were trained to learn sign language to help people who have speech disabilities or are hard of hearing. It is the first of its kind initiative in the country.

Police constable Manish Ujjainiya, who completed the training said, “Now, I will be able to ask for names, addresses, and problems with gestures and will also be able to solve it."

Tiktok recently released a new feature - automated captions. This feature will make the platform more inclusive for the Deaf.

Creators will be able to edit the subtitles generated which will save them a lot of time and energy. This feature is only available in American English and Japanese for now.
