A stereotype is a fixed, over generalized belief about a particular group or class of people. Such stereotypes are formed at an early age and limits their possibilities of achieving wonders. As an educational institution, it is our responsibility to break such barriers in our learner’s thought process.
We collaborated with the Girl Scouts Organization of Claude Middle School, Michigan, USA and conducted a productive and educational workshop on “Conquering Stereotypes” for Grade 4 and 5 learners.
A sincere thanks to the girls who provided a wonderful session with lots of interaction and excellent coverage on the topic.
