In Donkia village, Anandapur, Kalyani Patra (35) is redefining community leadership.

Trained in Ethno-Veterinary Medicine (EVM) by Odisha Rising Foundation-ORF, with support from Reliance Foundation, Kalyani is now a trusted Goat Cadre, providing affordable, timely care to livestock in her village.

When Kanchan Didi’s goat faced a life-threatening birthing complication, Kalyani stepped in with a traditional herbal solution — Apamaranga lepa.
The result? Both mother and kid survived.

Today, her work is creating real impact:
✔️ 150+ women supported
✔️ 5 villages covered
✔️ 300+ goats treated
✔️ Families saving ₹20,000–₹50,000 annually

This is what happens when local knowledge meets the right training.

This initiative is transforming classrooms into vibrant spaces of curiosity, creativity, and innovation—promoting Science, Mathematics, and Language Education among young learners.

With the valuable support from DEO Kalahandi, Axis Bank and MANTRA, these learning spaces are empowering students to explore, experiment, and think critically—preparing them for a brighter, knowledge-driven future.

Together, we are nurturing the next generation of problem-solvers, innovators, and leaders from the heart of rural Odisha.
