HackTux

This was the first time that an event dedicated to GNU/Linux was organized in NIT-Bhopal. It was an awesome experience to organize this event and hopefully we will try to again organize it soon.

Congratulations to all of you and also to those who qualified round-1 of HackTux and were a part of final round. The final round was totally a learning activity and I hope all the participants had learnt a lot from it while solving the questions.

It was totally an awesome experience to organize such a unique event in NIT-Bhopal. I will again try to organize HackTux very soon if possible; Till then, keep learning and exploring Linux.

Don’t learn to hack, hack to learn. This is the slogan/tagline of event HackTux which will be organized on 18th and 19th of October during this TechnoSearch.

Internet will be provided in this event to solve questions so that participants can learn about several new tools, techniques and concepts at the time of solving the questions.

HackTux is NOT A LINUX BASED HACKING EVENT, it’s about exploring what all is possible with a Linux machine. It will test the in-depth knowledge/skills of participants related to Networking, Cryptography, Security Bypass and several other topics.
