We are living in the era of transforming our nation into a peaceful and developed democratic federal Union. So everyone is responsible to take part in this noble task. To shoulder this task, one of the most important things is that every citizen must enjoy good health.

It is true that eating nutritious food such as meat, fish, eggs, milk and vegetables which give us protein, vitamins and minerals and taking personal hygiene are essential for good health. Apart from these facts, one exercise is walking. Taking a walk has many benefits. First of all, working does not cost much. We can walk in our ordinary daily dress. If we wish, a track-suit and a pair of walking-shoes are enough for walking. Everyone can afford it. Playing games such as golf, tennis, badminton, etc. are expensive. To play golf, we need golf-sticks, golf-balls which cost very much. Likewise, tennis rackets, tennis balls, badminton rackets and shuttlecorks are also rather expensive. Next, most games need play-partners. They cannot be played alone. On the other hand, walking does not need play-partners. One can walk alone. Again, the best benefit of walking is that we breathe in fresh air while walking. We can walk in the morning or in the evening. But the best time for walking is early in the morning. At that time the whole surroundings are quiet and peaceful. The morning breeze is clean and fresh. To breathe in the clean and fresh air makes our body and brain fresh. We feel more energetic. Another advantage is that we can walk at our own pace or speed. It does not matter whether we walk slowly or quickly. Walking is just walking. And walking does not need a fixed duration. Other games, for example, football and sports need a fixed duration to be played. We can take time to walk as we like. We can walk 15 minutes, half an hour or two hours or more. Taking a walk needs no training and there is no stress to take a walk.

There are some of the benefits of taking a walk. In short, taking a walk is the best way to enjoy good health for every citizen.
