North and East sides of this municipality are surrounded by Palta Canel, Mohanpur & Patulia Pancheyet.

At Prapti (a shelter home for the homeless run by Barrackpore Municipality), Kalianibash Kishore Sangha Club distributed essential items among the residents. These included sugar, potatoes, onions, ginger, pulses, vegetables, 5 liters of mustard oil, soybean, milk, and other daily necessities.
🤝 The club authorities also assured that they will continue to support the residents in the future.
