This developing village is situated in north 24 pgs of West Bengal. Though about its birth would be kept in guessing concept but about its growing up must not be hidden. Still, at mid- Nahata there is held every Saturday and Tuesday – ‘hut’, where all kinds of fresh vegetables are available in wholesale and retail marketing both. Day by day with time Nahata has been changing its features for progress. Here are people with their intelligence effort and enthusiasm is developing them. Nahata now has achieved a small identity among many. There were fields after fields. Although agriculture was running on, no proper civilization existed. Males grew crops in own field or others in the early morning and females were busy only their households. At the end of the day, the males used to come house with little earning. With that, they used to buy some ingredients to fulfill their hunger. Their only motive for working was to fulfill their hunger. They had no education. They had no other progressive thoughts. They were simple, honest but poor. Then the civilization of Nahata was not so much updated. Then people of Nahata had no requirements of education, good food, good roads, electricity, etc. They spent their lives in the light of a lamp and with the end of the sunset; their working periods also were finished. People grew crops and crops. But its civilization was not so much updated. Most of the people were then uneducated but they were simple and honest. But gradually after coming in the light of education people have learned to utilize their intelligence to create an up-to-date civilization. People have become now intelligent smart and curious. In the part of natural beauty, almost every house consists of various fruit trees and flower trees, and others that enhance the natural beauty. One more admirable part of Nahata is its lively celebration of all kinds of festivals from Durga puja to Christmas so, at last, but not least it can be said that change is only constant, but that the very change is if, to the better, that change is really commendably needed. Nahata has set up an example of that.
