Centre, and the Start Up Policy
of the Government of Karna-
taka. There are lots of opportunities
for these companies, both in
India and abroad. But to
achieve their goals, and reach a
size with impact, these compa-
nies need a supporting environ-
ment. They need mentoring; they
need networks; they need market
access; they need funds; they need
to avail of government schemes
and so on. Suitable events form part of such
an enabling environment. Al-
though the country hosts a large
trans-sectoral meet in Delhi in
January each year, and smaller
events geared to this sector, we
believe that there is a need for a
large event geared to the young
companies of this sector. We are
organizing such a meeting.
