Your purchase both creates jobs for underprivileged women, and also helps to fund lessons from stitching and jewelry-making to basic computer and English skills. Born out of a deep passion to make a difference in the lives of these young women and to embark on a mission to help bring dignity and life to Indian women in distress. Participants at Juvi come to live, eat, and learn under one roof. For six months they are mentored in tailoring, stitching, jewelry-making, basic computer skills, and English skills. As the women complete the program they leave full of life, dignified, and confident in their skills. Juvi now offers temporary employment upon graduation.
