Guardians, ruling the eight zones of the universe

Īśāna (North east)
There are symbolic importance of the eight directions across cultures and religions
Happōten:
Taishakuten (Skt. Indra/Sakra; east)
Katen (Fire, Skt. Agni; southeast )
Enmaten (Skt. Yama; south)
Rasetsuten (Skt. Nirṛti; southwest)
