That time of the year when I'm helping my students of the program to review the goals they had set for themselves and create / carry forward some for #2023. For some of the students, this is the 3rd straight year into the program!

My motivation pitch yesterday to get them to renew their personal pledge towards was:

Do you want
- your family and friends to be proud of you and want others to emulate you?

and after you grow up and become independent adults,

- your neighbours to be very happy to have you as their neighbours?

- your colleagues at work (regardless of what profession you choose) to be thrilled to team up with you?

- your family and friends to always find you dependable?

- people to come looking for you to seek your inputs/guidance on things nagging their minds?

- for you to feel happy, secure and excited to continue to learn new things?

Every ***en including one , nodded in quiet agreement. And then thanked me at the end of the session.

As a , nothing can be more satisfying than seeing happen. Slowly, but steadily.
