We aim to facilitate large reductions of greenhouse gas emissions and oil use through improvements in automotive fuel economy in the face of rapidly growing car use worldwide. With efficiency related flanking measures this is likely to result in at least a stabilization of carbon-dioxide emissions from the global car fleet. Beyond technology-based improvements to new cars, further low-cost efficiency improvements are possible for the entire global stock of cars, affecting actual “on-road” efficiency. We have been planning to promote efficient after-market products like replacement tyres, fuel-efficient driving style (ecodriving), improved traffic and speed management, better maintenance of the stock of vehicles and better management of mobility in cities. Our goal is to integrate ingeniousness and creativity with hard work and determination to develop a concept utility vehicle which is fuel efficient and cost effective to step forward towards a greener world.
