1. Preparation of resume..
If you don't how to compile a resume now... You will face a lot of problems during your later stages. This experience will help you in later stages..
2. Interview experience..
If shortlisted, you will get a chance to you a actual interview and you understand a lot of things. You develop your instincts and you understand how to answer a question in better way.
3. Many a times you may not be interested in a particular field but may be after working in that field.. You might like it.
And possibilities are endless...
And dont think that you will crack a very internship in a your field without any hands on experience... This experience of working will add of value to your resume...
