Common hawk cuckoo!!

I was going on checking for a red crested Porchard and as we entered the place this guy was very close to us. He almost chased us twice and was perched very close while we took a round.

The colors and details on each of the feathers were so vibrant. Really God has worked his magic in each of his creations.

Any of the Instagram filters can't make this bird looking better that it's natural color.

The lazy one.......

Red crested Porchard or lalsar as locally known, shot at secretariat pond Patna. Oh boy this was a lazy one for sure! This was about 9:30 am and was adament on sleeping through the day while every other duck kept feeding.

We waited for more than an hour for it to wake up but this boy just wanted to sleep and he was the only one at the location. After more than an hour few Indian lesser whistlings disturbed this boy for it to move to another place. That's when I got this moving through shot... and was the only once when this boy was looking up..

The noisy one

Around 4 in the evening this noisy guy was flying around while keeping an eye on me.

He was confused as he there was no sound coming from the flute. However his grandfather got him smiling... This is the first time I saw all his teeth!!
