Portraying the Totos of Totopara ,a remote village located in the Alipurduar district of West Bengal, the Toto's being a lively yet deeply peaceful community. During my visit to Totopara last month, I had the opportunity to meet Karan Toto, a genuinely progressive minded young man whose heartfelt wish is to revive and preserve the rich Toto culture. Encounters like these leave behind not just memories, but a quiet hope for the future.

Project Setu Foundation Trust conducted Sit and Draw Art Competition on 23rd January 2026, at Abdul Ghani High School Jorepakri, for the children who were divided into 2 groups, Classes VII , VIII, and IX in first group, and Classes X , XI and XII - second group.
