Our Community Resource Person (CRP), Sadhna Chaurasiya, recently interacted with farmers during a community meeting in Mishrauliya Village Panchayat, Shravasti.

The session focused on creating awareness about Paddy/Rice Seed availability and informing farmers about government schemes offering discounts on seed purchases, helping them access better agricultural inputs at affordable costs.

हाल ही में Agriroute की Community Resource Person (CRP) साधना चौरसिया द्वारा श्रावस्ती के मिश्रौलिया ग्राम पंचायत में आयोजित सामुदायिक बैठक में किसानों को धान/चावल बीजों की उपलब्धता तथा उनकी खरीद पर लाभ देने वाली सरकारी योजनाओं की जानकारी दी गई।

ऐसी पहल किसानों को जागरूक बनाने, सरकारी सुविधाओं तक पहुंच बढ़ाने और बेहतर खेती के लिए आवश्यक संसाधनों से जोड़ने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण कदम हैं।

Traditional farming practices often release large amounts of carbon due to residue burning, over-tilling, and chemical overuse. But with improved agricultural methods, we can reverse this trend—turning farmlands into carbon sinks rather than carbon sources. 🌾💚

Through climate-smart farming, practices like crop diversification, organic soil care, and water-efficient irrigation help cut carbon emissions while improving yields and soil health.

What’s even more promising?

Each tonne of carbon saved can now be monetized through Carbon Credits, opening a new income stream for rural farmers—especially women. 💰👩‍🌾

Abhyam Agri-Inputs Stores by Agriroute are creating a new wave of empowerment across village panchayats in Eastern UP. These stores, managed by Women Agriculture Entrepreneurs (AEs), are not just distribution points for quality agri-products and services, but also hubs of knowledge and guidance for local farmers especially women.

By ensuring access to the right inputs at the right time, these agri-inputs stores are enabling farmers to adopt improved farming practices that enhance productivity while safeguarding natural resources. At the same time, women entrepreneurs managing these stores are achieving financial autonomy, building confidence, and contributing to the strengthening of their rural economy.
