1 Renowned mathematician Vashishtha Narayan Singh passed away in Patna. He was 74.
महान गणितज्ञ वशिष्ठ नारायण सिंह का पटना में निधन हो गया। वह 74 वर्ष के थे।

2- Jindal Steel & Power Ltd (JSPL) has been honoured with the Women Achievers Award by the Associated Chambers of Commerce & Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) for best women empowerment initiatives.
जिंदल स्टील एंड पावर लिमिटेड (जेएसपीएल) को महिला सशक्तिकरण के क्षेत्र में उल्लेखनीय काम करने के लिए एसोचैम का ‘वूमन एचीवर्स’ पुरस्कार प्रदान किया गया है।

3- A food ATM, named Trupti, was opened up in Odisha's Sambalpur with an objective to provide food free of cost to the underprivileged people.

4- KKR India Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sanjay Nayar has resigned from the board of Coffee Day Enterprises, which operates India's largest coffee chain Café Coffee Day.
केकेआर इंडिया के मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी (सीईओ) संजय नायर ने कॉफी डे एंटरप्राइजेज के बोर्ड से इस्तीफा दे दिया है, जो भारत की सबसे बड़ी कॉफी श्रृंखला कैफे कॉफी डे का संचालन करता है।

5- Moody's Investors Service cut India's economic growth forecast for current year to 5.6% from 5.8% estimated earlier, saying GDP slowdown is lasting longer than previously expected.
मूडीज इन्वेस्टर्स सर्विस ने भारत के आर्थिक विकास के अनुमान को मौजूदा वर्ष के लिए अनुमानित 5.8% से घटाकर 5.8% कर दिया है, यह कहते हुए कि जीडीपी में मंदी पहले की अपेक्षा अधिक समय तक जारी है।

6- ISRO has reportedly started work on India's third Moon mission, Chandrayaan-3, and has set a deadline of November 2020 for it.

1. The Defence Acquisition Council has approved procurement of indigenous defence equipment worth over 3,300 crore rupees.
रक्षा खरीद परिषद-डी.ए.सी. ने सुरक्षा बलों के लिए 33 अरब रुपये के स्वदेशी उपकरणों की खरीद को मंजूरी दे दी है।

2. Shuva Dutta, the editor of leading Bengali daily ''Bartaman'', died. She was 67.
बांग्ला भाषा के महत्वपूर्ण समाचार पत्रों में शुमार ‘वर्तमान’ की संपादक शुवा दत्ता का निधन हो गया। वह 67 साल की थीं।

3. Jindal Steel and Power Ltd's (JSPL) arm Jindal Power said banking veteran Akhauri Rajesh Sinha has taken over as its chairman.
अखौरी राजेश सिन्हा जिंदल स्टील एंड पावर लि. (जेएसपीएल) की इकाई जिंदल पावर के चेयरमैन का पदभार संभाला है।

4. The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) have launched a cinema advertisement campaign ''Feed Our Future'' to raise awareness and take steps against hunger and malnutrition in India.
संयुक्त राष्ट्र विश्व खाद्य कार्यक्रम (डब्ल्यूएफपी) ने भारत में भूख और कुपोषण के खिलाफ जागरुकता लाने तथा कदम उठाने के उद्देश्य से सिनेमा के लिए विज्ञापन अभियान ‘फीड अवर फ्यूचर’ की शुरूआत की है।

5. The Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA) has signed an MoU with International Solar Alliance (ISA) for capacity building of its member countries.
वैश्विक स्तर पर अक्षय ऊर्जा को बढ़ावा देने के लिये गठित अंतरराष्ट्रीय सोलर अलायंस (आईएसए) को भारतीय लोक प्रशासन संस्थान (आईआईपीए), सदस्य देशों में सौर ऊर्जा के क्षेत्र में क्षमता विकास में सहयोग करेगा।

6. The Supreme Court accepted the Centre's revised offer of 400 sq mt land in Tughlaqabad forest area here for the construction of Guru Ravidas temple which was demolished by the DDA following the court's earlier order.
उच्चतम न्यायालय तुगलकाबाद के वन क्षेत्र में गुरू रविदास के मंदिर निर्माण के लिये 400 वर्गमीटर भूमि देने के केन्द्र के प्रस्ताव को सोमवार को मंजूरी दे दी। इस मंदिर को न्यायालय के आदेश पर दिल्ली विकास प्राधिकरण ने गिरा दिया था।

7. Justice Sharad Arvind Bobde, currently second in seniority in the Supreme Court, will be India’s new Chief Justice, heading the highest judicial court of the country.
