At Spring Dale Senior School, we take immense pride in celebrating alumni whose journeys inspire excellence, innovation, and purpose.
Today, we honour 𝐃𝐫. 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐤 𝐁𝐚𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐢 — scientist, inventor, author, and micro-engineering innovator — whose remarkable work in research and technology has earned global recognition.
Based in 𝐈𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐢𝐬, 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬, Dr. Bakshi has transformed advanced scientific research into impactful real-world innovations. His contributions to the early design studies of the 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐖𝐞𝐛𝐛 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐞 and his role as co-inventor on 𝟒 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 reflect an extraordinary pursuit of scientific excellence.
Beyond science and engineering, he is also the author of Nowhere Man — a moving biography of Captain Kamal Bakshi, who went missing during the 1971 Indo-Pak War.
Dr. Shivalik Bakshi’s journey is a powerful example of curiosity, perseverance, and meaningful innovation, inspiring young minds to dream boldly and create lasting impact.
