Yelagiri 🌱

Yelagiri is a hill station located in the Vellore district of Tamil Nadu. Situated at an elevation of 1048 ft above sea level, this hill station is at a distance of 160 km from Bangalore. It is also a popular weekend getaway in Bangalore. Yelagiri is not as famous and developed as the major hill stations of Tamil Nadu, Ooty and Kodaikanal. However, there are activities like trekking, hiking and para gliding. It is famous for its 'Annual Summer Festival' which takes place in the month of May.
