KHEMMIS - an American band that mixes classic heavy metal and doom. Very cool show and interaction with the audience.

(DOLCH) - yes, with parentheses. Very atmospheric music at the intersection of doom and black metal.

KERRY KING. Yes, it's not Slayer, but it's still Kerry f@cking King.

Right after him, BABYMETAL. A very colorful and visually interesting project, but not my thing.

Then MEGADETH. And I didn't see them, because at the same time on another stage was
DARK TRANQUILLITY!!!
The main band in my musical upbringing, and I saw them for the first time. It was a blast! The crowd gave three standing ovations. The best end to the first day.

There were also S***M and CRADLE OF FILTH afterwards, but they couldn't top the excitement from Dark Tranquillity. Beer. The first day is over.
