While my daughter and I are stranded in France with evacuation probably a week away, my focus is on the people of Israel. Iran killed five more innocent civilians today in Beersheva.

In the Shadow of Sirens, We Continue to Care

Hi. I am writing to ask you to help support a grassroots swimming education project for survivors of the October 7 massacre and Gaza Envelope evacuees who are now staying in hotels at the Dead Sea. My daughter, Ella Azaria, is one of the project’s swim instructors and co-directors.

She tells me that she works with the survivors in the pool every day and sees people with severe anxiety and PTSD finally relax and smile during their lessons. The psychologists volunteering in trauma relief at the Dead Sea hotels encouraged the development of the school for resilience-building and therapeutic support.
