I pulled this quotation from the article featured in the previous post because it supports the multisensory teaching methods I use with students. By having students act out the meaning, write, and read, new vocabulary words, they retain these words more easily and begin to use them in their own communication.

This has been an unprecedented school year. As parents we are all breathing a sigh of relief that most of the bagrutim are finished and the backpacks are emptied out and shoved into a closet for a few months.
