Thank You from All of Us at Dancing at Lughnasa

To everyone who came to see Dancing at Lughnasa at The Venue Theatre, thank you.

Your support, your laughter, your tears, and your standing ovations meant more than we can say. You reminded us why we do this, why stories matter, why community theatre matters, and why live performance continues to move hearts.
This production was a true ensemble effort. From the cast to the crew, from the front of house to the lighting and sound desk, every person involved gave their all. We shared not just a stage, but a journey, one filled with emotion, humour, and the quiet power of memory.

Special thanks to our director, whose vision and sensitivity guided us through Brian Friel’s beautiful, bittersweet world. And to our families, friends, and supporters, thank you for helping us bring this story to life.

We hope Dancing at Lughnasa stayed with you long after the final bow. Until next time,

go raibh míle maith agaibh.

🌟 Behind the Scenes Spotlight: Meet Tegan! 🌟

Dancing at Lughnasa! Spoiler alert! There will be … Dancing!!

We’re thrilled to have the incredibly talented Tegan Rodden choreographing the dance scenes for our upcoming production of Dancing at Lughnasa.

A professional Irish dancer currently performing at Raglan Road in Walt Disney World, Orlando, Tegan began dancing at the age of three. She’s a Leinster Champion, has placed in the top five nationally, and holds multiple World medals in Irish dance.

Her passion for the stage was nurtured through years of performing with the Ratoath Musical Society, and now, at 25, she’s making her choreographic debut with us, bringing her rich performance experience and deep love of Irish culture to this powerful production.

We can’t wait for you to see her work come to life on stage! 💃
