The aim of this programme is to introduce young people to a more assertive and positive way of managing day to day challenges faced by them in the world we live today. Bee established her coaching business in 2010, working with clients on a one to one basis and also in groups delivering workshops and seminars in several areas of personal development and positivity. For 80 minutes, on either Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th November 2024, all TY base classes had a PALS (Positive Assertive Life Skills) workshop. The workshop was facilitated by Bee Flanagan who came in with a bright smile and positive attitude. PALS Programme

In this workshop, Bee encouraged all of the TYs to be the best version of themselves. From encouraging the TYs to stand up and shake the negativity off of them, to sharing with TYs heartfelt moments from her own life. Bee told us on the day of her first ever Ted Talk, things were not going well for her. She was anxious. She shares how she couldnโ€™t stop thinking about messing up. Right before the talk, she got a call that a close family member was unwell. Despite all of this, Bee found her courage to stand up on stage and present herself, even if it was difficult. This story inspires us all to be the best version of ourselves, so that no matter what happens we can still be brave and confident. These days, Bee is more confident and speaks positively to herself. It is hard not to be positive around Bee as she is just the type of person who makes you feel good about yourself. It took for her children a while to realise Bee's positive outlook on life was the way forward. Bee shares her confidence with the room and left the TYs feeling empowered and better in themselves. Bee is an example of confidence, an example of somebody living their best they can.

Bee has many roles including Accredited Master Coach, Teen Coach, Peace Commissioner, Motivational Speaker and Trainer! Bee was delighted to see some junior students in ACS who she worked with in their school in 6th class!

Thanks again to Ms Mathews for bringing PALSโ„ข๏ธ into the TY students again this year ๐Ÿ

Good afternoon everyone,

I am delighted to announce my first PALS Programme event for Parents taking place in The Venue on Thursday 24th October at 7.30pm.

I relaunched my Parents Talk - Embracing Positive Communication With Your Pr***en & Teenager - in January this year and the response from parents I have engaged with in schools to date has been very positive.

I wanted to bring my talk in to the wider community and hope to see you there on the night if -

๐Ÿ You are a parent struggling to be seen beyond the screen?
๐Ÿ Your children are chatting and socialising on TikTak or WhatsApp
๐Ÿ You would like to learn ways to increase positive conversations face to face?

Parenting doesnโ€™t come with a manual or guidebook and navigating the Teenage years certainly can be a daily rollercoaster!

Tickets are available here ๐Ÿ‘‡
https://thevenueratoath.ticketsolve.com/ticketbooth/shows/873665326

๐Ÿ“ž Box office 01 689 5600

Tickets are โ‚ฌ10 plus booking fee.

Looking forward to seeing you on the night.

Thank you
Bee

Another super morning with the final two groups of TY Students for the workshops.
We had a very active discussion about time management and how we spend our 168 hours - some surprising realisations for sure!

Thanks again to Ms Matthews for bringing PALSโ„ข๏ธ in to the TY students again this year ๐Ÿ
