Entries for the September Yearling Sale close later this month. The sales rapid growth is reflected in the massive surge in numbers, with the clearance rate of 93% the best at any yearling sale worldwide in 2025.
The Tattersalls Ireland Breeze Up Sale broke new ground last week, as records were broken across the board, and phenomenal trade was recorded at the one-day sale.
For the first time turnover exceeded โฌ12 million, while a record average of โฌ62,198 was a 13 per cent increase on 2025. The record median concluded at โฌ42,000, a 31 per cent increase on the corresponding figure 12 months previously, while a record five horses were sold for โฌ300,000 or more.
