The DSD Events office has two new positions open and we would like to reach out to our DSD community first.

Customer Service Executive 1
Position: Customer Service Executive
Duration: January – June 2025
Location: DSD Events offices, Sandyford Industrial Estate
Compensation: €1,400 per month (based on 20 hours per week)

DSD Events (The Women’s Mini Marathon Ltd) is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Executive to join our team from January through June 2025. This part-time role will initially require two days per week (4 hours per day) in January and three days per week (4 hours per day) in February, increasing to 20 hours per week across five days (4 hours per day) from March to June.

The position supports a range of events including the Women’s Mini Marathon, Sandyford 5K, and duties related to DSD Athletic Club.

Hours: Office hours are from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with possible flexibility in May between morning and afternoon hours (1 pm to 5 pm) as race day approaches. Full-day availability is required over the June bank holiday weekend (Friday, 30th May to Sunday, 1st June 2025) and for race number collection dates in mid-May. The Sandyford 5K takes place in the evening on Thursday, 8th May. Any additional hours will be discussed in advance and will depend on availability.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Respond to general customer queries about races and entries via phone and email.
• Provide administrative support and collaborate with a small team on various event-related tasks.

Specific Duties Include:
• Assisting with logistics and fulfilment for race numbers.
• Coordinating with charities and handling group bookings.
• Supporting event and marketing operations, including hotel and catering bookings, race day entertainment, race number collection logistics, and gathering website content and competition information.

Requirements:
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Adaptability and willingness to take on varied responsibilities.
