ture and learning and familiarizing myself with different styles like House, Afro, Locking and popping. I found locking to be very interesting and exploring it my own way. Hence my crew lead Ravi Varma named me bubblelock. We made couple of dance videos and also won several national level competitions in India. Locking inspired me a lot and I started deeper into that style by learning it from different teachers around the world. Since 2015 I become one of the core member in the team and started managing the team as it grew every year. As of now we are 40 member team each of exploring dance in our own way. Apart from dance I also work as an IT engineer which enabled me to move around countries and since 2019 I am in Ireland working for a big cloud service provider. I love to teach locking and also learn from other teachers around the world. I am married and have a 4 year old boy. About Locking

Locking is a street style originated in late 1960s it was demonstrated by Sir Don Campbell and then many others started to develop and innovate more moves to add to its vocabulary. It is a dance with a sudden sharp rhythmic pause while dancing that makes the locking effect. Soul train , a TV show hosted many of the locking dancers in the show. There were many old generation dancers who involved in developing this style and they were named as "The Lockers" Since then locking have evolved and taken many shapes and enhancements due to the people who demonstrated this style. The main ideology of Sir Don Campbell is "Take my moves and make your own". I personally believe in that ideology and continuously spread and seek the real knowledge all the time and create my own.
