He graduated from Dundalk Institute of Technology with a BA (Hons.) in Applied Music, specialising in Music Technology. During his studies, he sang with the DkIT Choir and was a member of the chamber choir, ‘The Oriel Consort’. He also played traditional Irish music within his specified music ensemble. Within the community, James was part of the Senior Choir and the Folk Group in St Peter’s & Paul
