SOSAD - Meath

We are looking for volunteers in Navan town to shake a bucket and raise awareness of World Su***de Preventation Day on Sunday 10th September 2023 from 10am – 6pm. 2-hour slots. Lets use this day to ask loved ones how they are feeling and to offer support if we feel someone needs help. What an undertaking!

On Monday 14th August, Stephen Lynch from Duleek, Co. Meath will be starting his run from Malin Head in Donegal to Mizen Head in Cork which is point to point of the length of Ireland (approx 550km).

The goal is to do it within 5 days and 13hrs which will leave Stephen the 4th quickest person to do such a route while also being the youngest person ever to do so at 28 years of age.

Stephen is running on behalf of SOSAD Ireland and Mental Health Ireland.

He will be running 100km a day which the total distance will be the equivalent of about 13 marathons!
