Civil Engineering Site Agent/Manager

Overall responsibility for the successful completion of projects and to lead by example, managing the day to day operations on site

Ensure all team members are fully inducted and carry out role specific requirements, identifying opportunities for improvement

Motivate team and manage performance

Draw up and monitor short programmes

Maintain accurate progress records

Deliver regular Toolbox Talks and manage all aspects of safety on site ensuring compliance among direct employees and subcontractors

Awareness of budget, cost control and cost recovery, ensuring that expenditure is in line with the contract budget, and that resources are utilised efficiently

Who we're looking for

You will have the following qualities and experience:

A successful track record in managing operational delivery within a construction, or construction related environment

Ability to work under pressure to deadlines, and a flexible attitude towards work in order to deal with a variable and demanding workload

Excellent team player and team leader, able to work competently and independently without supervision

Team management experience with ability to manage multi site

Knowledge in surveying and construction procedures

Knowledge in use of survey equipment (EDM/Total Station)

Previous experience essential
Dozer GPS experience a distinct advantage
