Happy Founders Day ✨️

Our Scout group of parents, leaders and scouts hiked to Lloyd to see the sunrise 🌅 as part of our celebration of the lives of the founder of scouting, Robert Baden-Powell and his wife Olave. ⚜️

Robert had a belief that young people could change the world if they were given adventure, responsibility and a chance to lead.

We in Kells, Co.Meath are very proud of our Scout group, our leaders and the achievements of our youth members 💜💛💜

Yesterday, Rosie Kiernan, our former group leader in 5th Meath Kells Scouts received one of the highest honours in the country. Rosie has worked tirelessly on behalf of the young people of Kells and Gleann na Boinne scout county for over 16 years now. She has driven the success of our scout group with her vision and determination. It is so fitting that she receive this award from our new president in Dublin Castle. We are so proud of her.
